Fine-grained calcareous sediment can be applied to working ground to support tilth and moisture holding. Results depend on the receiving soil, rate, and management — not a one-rate product claim.

Mineral amendment

The documented bed is a sandy/silty clay with calcium, magnesium, sulfur, and trace elements. It is an amendment, not a complete fertilizer program.

Related-use donation

Qualified charities commit to use donated minerals for exempt agricultural or land-restoration work for at least three years. After that period they may explore further use with expert partners.

Market gardens and tribal farmland

Alliance partners apply mineral inputs on garden plots and Tribal farmland. Those programs are theirs. Utah Seabed’s documented material is the Sevier Desert lacustrine bed.

Nephi ranch

The Nephi ranch is a handling facility — palleted super sacks, loose mineral, and a processing floor. The documented bed remains in place as Lake Bonneville sediment in the Sevier Desert.
